DSCN0160.JPG

Born and raised in South Florida, Dr. Sterghos is a native Floridian and a board-certified physician. After obtaining his medical degree from The University of South Florida College of Medicine and completing his residency training in Tampa, Dr. Sterghos has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. His interest in Aviation Medicine led him to apply to the FAA to become an Aviation Medical Examiner. He is delegated as an FAA Employee Examiner by the Federal Air Surgeon to perform FAA Air Traffic Controller exams and and also conducts airman medical exams to issue Class 1, 2 and 3 medical certificates as a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner per Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations, part 67. Dr Sterghos  limits his practice exclusively to performing aviation medical exams and provides a “no-nonsense” approach in a comfortable and professional setting to assist the applicant in completing the medical certification process.
